Since the question of differences between the H26 and H260 comes up fairly often on this forum, I put together a summary of comments on this subeject from the archives. Please review this link and make suggestions for changes or correct errors. http://kobernus.com/hunter260/h26.vs.h260.html One thing I was going to add: The H260 have thru-hull valves and the thru hull exits below the water line. As I recall, the H26 does not have thru-hull valves and the lines exit above the waterline. Is this correct?

look at the promo pictures of the 260 and 270. They flipped the picture of the 260 and called it the 270. Jim "Who still likes the 260" S/V Java

1995 H-26

My 1995 H-26 does not have any thru-valves below water line. Don't know anything about H-260 but your analysis of items on H-26 are correct according to what I see on my boat. And yes, when I purchase mine last year there were lots of owner added items. Mike T.
