OK here's something I never noticed before.... For several years I was on a mooring in shallow water so I always kept the centerboard up. I'm now in a slip where the water is so clear you can see the centerboard. It is not at a 90 degree angle to the hull. When fully down it cants back at about a 60 degree angle. I don't suppose it makes much difference, but I'd always assumed when fully deployed it was 90 degrees. Inquiring minds want to know....

Wait just one minute...

I need to make a correction. I had dropped and cleaned mine but if yours isnt fully dropping you may have a foriegn object in there. Mine was repulled and I crawled in there and saw a small metal plate. Maybe 1 by 2. Anyone have any idea what that might be? I couldnt get it out and I could tell for sure what it was other than metal...

George - Check the manual

My H23.5, which shares the manual with the H19 and H26, is at an angle like the picture on the cover of the manual and several of the drawings inside. Does yours like like the picture on the cover of the H260 in the link below? ...RickM...
