OK here's something I never noticed before....For several years I was on a mooring in shallow water so I always kept the centerboard up. I'm now in a slip where the water is so clear you can see the centerboard. It is not at a 90 degree angle to the hull. When fully down it cants back at about a 60 degree angle. I don't suppose it makes much difference, but I'd always assumed when fully deployed it was 90 degrees.Inquiring minds want to know....
