H240 Outbaord Mounting Bracket

I just noticed that one of the bolts holding my outbaord bracket to the transom is loose. The other bolts are fine so I don't think the outbaord will drop off . I tried tightening the loose bolt but it just seems to spin. I doesn't look like the bracket is through bolted to the transom. Does anyone know how to fix this? Anyone had the same problem? Tony

Add Thru-bolts

When I took delivery of my "Demo" 19 WB, I discovered that the dealer had stripped both the motor pad mount bolts and the ladder bolts from the threaded aluminum plate encapsulated in the stern. I feel much more confident of both after drilling thru the stern and installing longer bolts with nuts and large backing plates.
