Someone brought a Hunter 240 to Key West to compete in Race Week. Anyone know who it is? I've seen them on the water a few times, and I think I have some pictures of the boat under way. --Jon
Ain't no way a Hunter 24 raced in Key West Race Week. PHRF rating on the h24 would be around 230 and there were no boats with ratings that high. Highesrated boats allowed was a couple of J24's with a 174 rating.
...with a Race Week sticker on the bow and a number on the hull. It launched out of Garrison Bight marina, and I had a chance to wave at the owner as I was returning to my slip. I saw it again when I was out in the dinghy taking pictures. Looked like it was racing to me! So, the question still stands- Anyone know who it was? --J
