The centerboard uphaul cheek block on my 240 has bent and the sheave no longer turns freely. No doubt from the force exerted on this part raising the board.
Any reason not to use a ball bearing cheek block to replace? The Schaefer 300-09 is the same size/load rating as the original 30-27 part. Hoping the hole pattern is the same... Thought it might help reduce a little friction-
