New to Forum and have read and learned allot. I am trying to get a recently purchases H23 ready for a water trial. Have made crutch and tripod and steped mask several times from info gained from this forum. Thanks...
Question:
I have a couple of warped open turbucles on aft rigging and would like to replace, what is the correct size ? It appears to be 5/16 or 1/4 ?
Thanks, AJ

Usually the studs are 1/4. I assume you are referring to the turnbuckle studs. You will need to determine if they are left hand or right hand when replacing them. You may want to take them into a sail loft to match them up correctly or marine store as some do not know what I am talking about.

When the turnbucle body is put on, there are two studs inserted and one is left hand while one is right hand. I saw both used at the chain plate attachement which is why you need to determine which one you have

Thanks Dave, I do not have a sail store etc near by and plan to order from the online hunter boat store. The LH/RH is a good point also. Appreciate the info, AJ
