H23 Toppinglift attachment

I need to know how my toppinglift is supposed to attach to the top of my mast. I have a Zspar mast and boom. There is a pin in the top of the mast. Am I miising a part or should I simply pin the loop of a bowline? Any help or suggestions would be appreciated.Thank youMatthew

Pin the loop

Yes, I just tied a bowline at the end of the topping lift. Just make sure you run it before you raise the mast! (I use a check list).Jay
