Finally got the pictures of the mast stepping system that I have been using successfully. Thanks to my better half for the posting. Anyway, the system is simple, safe and easy to use. Pictures and instructions are in the picture forum.
Didn't see the pictures of the stepping process. But I know that I received help two years ago through this forum to step the mast on my 23 foot hunter. If I had to I could possibly do by myself if there wasn't any wind and I felt very graceful that day. But it is better and safer to do witha crew member, friend or.............. Best of sailing to all. Isn't it fun. And for those of you who are thinking about inflateable life vest. I wear the Mustang and feel very comfortable even in warm weather. I have decided to pick up a dealership along with my current Windrider Sailboats. A fun parttime job.
Ralph, I completely agree with you that help from friend(s) is better than doing it alone. However, I do all my sailing with my wife who is about 100 lbs soaking wet. Therefore, I had to come up with a more reliable way of stepping the mast. The pictures are accessable through a link at the end of my listing or on the picture forum for the h23
