Last Sunday I was motoring back to the dock after the wind died. I heard a metallic clunk on the fore deck but didn't see anything bounce or splash.
See picture of mast head looking up and aft.

Q. What part or parts am I missing??

Thanks in advance and fair winds!

I would check someplace forward of the mast. Since you were motoring, your momentum and wind would have carried the object aft. Check your bow pulpit. Also, the sound of the motor could easily have kept you from hearing a splash. Good luck!

What year H23? Different years had different lighting and masts.. Did you have an anchor light up there at one time

Spinnaker halyard sheave that used to be in the slot? (now in the bottom of the mast?)

The black circle is an anchor light fixture, doesn't work. But I just remembered there is 'steaming' light about a foot or two above spreaders, maybe a piece of that fell off. I need to look more closely at that next weekend.
BTW: There is no VHF antenna or spinnaker halyard sheave on the mast head that I know of. Except for the roller furler, my h23 is pretty much a stock boat. I just not sure if a part even fell from that slot at the top or or if it's been there the whole time. Funny what you notice later when something unknown falls off and goes 'klunk'!!

Thanks all for your thoughts,

Brad
