H23 floorboards

Quick question about the floorboards above the bilge area. Mine have to be replaced and the one in the V-berth looks like it was screwed down. Can anyone verify that is correct or did a previous owner do this? Here is a pic of the V-berth floor board.

one big improvement I made recently was to move the battery to the forward compartment in the v berth secured in a battery box on the centerline. This balanced the boat well and made it feel the same on different tacks. the factory position is lacking in my opinion. With motor, water tank, and battery all on the same side. I have a 6 gallon water tank on the centerline in the lazarette as forward as possible too.
