My compass on my 23 has a housing that is fastened to the fiberglass and then there is the compass part itself that sort of slides in and out. It started to leak last year and I want to fix it . It almost seems like there should be a gasket or something that goes between the inner compass part and the outer housing, I reallly dont want to caulk it unless thats the only answer> Thanks in advance as usual, Mike Bacome
