Apropos of stuffiness in the aft berth, I looked back in the archives for info on folks who may have installed such item(s) & didn't find much except for a short thread in '01. The admiral thinks this is a great idea, with one or two opening portlights facing into the cockpit. Anyone have experience to share on this idea?

We have one

Take a look at the way the H26 is set up. There is a portlight that opens and faces into the cockpit. The H260 has a nice set-up, there window/portlight is under a rear seat, which opens up.

After 1994 they were standard

I have a 1994 23.5 and it does not have one but I believe after 1994 Hunter began installing one Beckson port on the starboard side of the cockpit of the 23.5 so it is something consumers saw a need for and Hunter started doing it. I do like what Mike Howell has on his boat. Not only does it put freshair down thee but it also adds light.

Cockpit facing pictures anyone?

Thanks for the photo, Mike. My wife originally got on to the idea when we saw it on a 260, Charisma. Do you have a picture of yours, per chance? Does anyone have a picture of a port(s) facing into the cockpit.
