H22 V-berth

I have just purchased a H22 that is getting a little TLC before Spring launch. There are quarter turn fasteners mounted on the sides of the V-berth. Are these factory-installed? If so, what was attached to them? Cushions? Storage bags? I am redoing the cushions in the boat and would like to know how these fasteners were originally used. The PO didn't know. Thank for your help, Philip

yes...storage bags

I just bought a Hunter 22' and on either side of the v-berth are canvas storage bags with pockets...and you can actually take them off and b/c they have handles, can be used as luggage

Thank you for the information. I plan on making replacements. I have redone the cushions and backrests already. Can't wait till Spring! Philip
