I recently came in position of an 1981 H22 that lived through hurrican Charley when we took a direct hit here. The hull is in great shape but I have no standing rigging. I've located a couple of masts but am having trouble with the rigging. What is the standard diameter of the stays? Is there anywhere I can get the general specs on the rigging...length of stays ect.? I also need to replace the plastic on the main cabin hatch. Has anyone replaced this with lexan sheet just bent to the curve of the deck rather than the bubble shape the original has? I previously had a 1978 H27 which I really loved but age caught up to me and I wanted something smaller. My son now has the H27 and is in the process of refurbishing it.

here's what I can do

I also have an 81 H22 which I totally restored. I have the specs for the standing rigging which I can email to you if you can leave your email address here. As for the hatch I don't treally know what you can do. I'm sure it would be costly to have one made. You may search online for an H22 that is being parted out. -Pete
