I bought an H22 three weeks ago. The po stated that it needed bottom paint and should have the keel pin and bushing replaced. Well due to scheduling conflicts with work, the yard and friends, I missed my window of this weekend to have it hauled out to take care of those things. Because of work I won't get another three or four days off in a row to haul it out for another month (I am in Florida, so the season isn't ending anytime soon). I don't want to miss that much sailing time.
1) is there any way that if I go for a sail that the keel is going to fall off?
2) is there any way that I can inspect the condition and usability while it's in the water? (the water temp is still in the 80s)?
3) if I can sail it, cause the keel won't fall off, could I damage it?
