floor boards
just below the floor boards in the lowest part of the boat. therefore water that has gotten into the boat will show up there. If you pull up your floor boards you will also find the keel attach bolts. my boat has has water there but it was from rain water getting into the boat and i never had it get the floor boards wet on top. I check the keel bolts every year as that could be a bad thing if one broke. I had one keel bolt leak once, it just needed tighting up but i dropped the keel and inspected and replaced new bolts.
