I have a H216 with the canvas mast boot. Does anyone have a good method to seal up the boot to the mast to prevent water from getting into the cabin? Looking for something that can be easily removed when trailering.

@sail sfbay , the OP is a trailer sailor. He'd have to take the boot tape off every time he takes the mast down. While the tape comes off easily, don't know if that's the right solution. Cheers.
I remember a customer took a round piece of rubber cutting a hole to the size of the mast and slipping it on. It required removing the mast foot putting it back on. He also squirted some silicon in the sail track too in the area where rubber laid around the mast. The rubber remained in place
