I was wondering if any one has rigged an H20 to single sail? I would like to do this on my boat but I am unsure of where to place the blocks and stuff due to the pop top? If anyone could help me with this I would really appreciate it! Thank you, Kent

Still working on a plan *!

I have been trying to figure that one out too. I'm thinking about placing a hinged fairlead block (wm#251934)on the mast below the halard exit and direct the line back through a bulleye fairlead (wm#3734191) on the top, aft end of the cabin top (pop top). Then place some sort of cleat on the cabin wall directly below the bullseye. My thinking is that the load would be born by the cabin wall (not the pop top)

Where do you sail

This boat is so easy to sail, it practically comes from the factory ready to sinfle hand. Unless you are planning a solo trip across one of the great lakes, or serious coatal cruising, I'd skip the $$$ on upgrades and save it for your next boat. I have sailed, this boat single handed in some serious inland blow's but the cockpit is so close to everything, yo can be on the bow in a flash to raise/ lower the jib, and back before you noticeably change course. Same with the main. You can furl the main without leaving the safety of the cockpit/cabin, and hoisting happens so quick, I question the need. I don't think Ive ever even used the winches! Good luck in whatever you decide!

True

I agree but, it is really a nice to have type of thing. Also If you do it like Chip is thinking it would be relatively inexpensive. I have taken a lot of pictures of the boat and will play around with different ways of doing this once I have it complete I will post and let you all know. Thanks for you help.
