Hi all just thought i would show you how we do things here in SW Fl.
It was time for a new bottom job and some other things I wanted to do while my H-36
was out of the water like changing one my transducer and also take apart my thru hulls.
I wanted the boat to stay out for a bout a month or less and so the boat yard had to take
my boat to another storage area where I can do my own work and that yard is around 3 or 4 miles than the road not with water front and this is a small sample but for some reason it ran shorter
than what I did tape.

I don't understand why no Video, they but my boat on a low special trailer and than drive down about 3 or 4 miles
to another yard all with the mast up and avoiding wires.
It's pretty cool to watch my boat riding down the highway.
I will try again another time.

Nick: I tried to post a video not long ago and I think it has to be on YouTube to post it. I gave up. Sure would like to see this and hope you can figure out how to do it.

It was good seeing you Nick and just come get me if you need an extra set of hands while working on the boat.

Here is a picture of the three yards here....

To get to them you go through a lock just off Charlotte Harbor and then 8 miles of canals to the yards. Safe Cove has a boat well and lift and so does Charlotte Harbor Boat Storage (CHBS). The J & R yard is some distance over land from CHBS and is owned by Joe and Ronnie. It is my understanding that Joe did own Charlotte Harbor Boat Storage before selling it to his sons. So the two yards work together and you have options where to store your boat and/or work on it.

CHBS ( http://charlotteharborboatstorage.com/ ) is extremely popular and it is harder to get in there so more boats are going to....

... the J & R Yard (Google -- J & R Marine Services Inc.) Both places are good people and the rates are good and the fact that you can stay on the boat while working on it saves really big compared to having to stay in a motel at night,

My H30 goes for two rides every season up here; about 2 miles each take out and launch. Of course the mast has to be unstepped and tied down. Our trip looks like this with a pneumatic trailer lift that carries the boat on its cradle. I'm thinking this would look totally wild with the mast up. @Jerry Clark H356 SV Persi has it right...videos have to be uploaded to a YouTube or similar server and linked via URL reference. I think SBO @Phil Herring can elaborate.

I don't use much video myself so I maybe rusty on this, but I _believe_ you can upload a vid to your media (login and click on Meia tab) then link to it from your post. Or, of course, you can always upload to YouTube, etc., and link to that. Someone who does it more often can probably add more details.
