I went to the boat show and we fell in love with the new hunter 36 and thinking of trading in our 290 for the 36. Are you happy with your 36 what are the things you like and what don't you like, anything you would change or add and what complaints do you have about hunter or dealer or the boat in general. nick

Great boat:

Have a 2003 356 Hull 296. I love the boat. Great volume for the length and handles well with the equipment I had put on. Would buy another in a heartbeat. Several things you need to change/add to make it much better. If done at purchase will save you some $$. e-mail with questions. Jerry Clark jclark@caarchitects.com

Hey Nick, We've got a 2002 356, Hull number 198. We also love the boat-fast, seaworthy, sails great and has lots of creature comforts. We would certainly buy another! you can email me from the directory and I'll be happy to answer your questions/send pictures, etc. We've made a number of changes to her that have improved our at-sea experience a lot. Sailing in Shippensburg?

Sandi, I had to email you, we are from Upperstrasburg about 10 miles from you. We work and sail in Okinawa, Japan. Currently I am renovating a 1978 Hunter 33 bought from a friend. Where do you keep your new boat? I suspect Anapolis or Chesapeak somewhere. Do you get to sail her much? How long have you been in Shippensburg? Sure could eat some good old Pennsylvannia Dutch pot pie. Okiman

Just live in Ship, but sail the Chesapeake. We are just south of Annapolis in Deale. Takes just about 2 hours. We are there almost every weekend and at least 2 weeks during the summer. My husband and I moved here in 1993. He works in Harrisburg. Lots of my students live in Upperstrausburg - you wouldn't happen to be an alumnus of Lurgan Elementary would you??? How's the sailing on the other side of the world? We had slippery pot pie just for supper tonight! My email is wifeofgonzo@comcast.net
