H 35.5 Inboard Jib Track Location ?

I am getting a blade jib for next summer and I want to add a track for it inboard of the shrouds. Has anyone considered using the forward hand hold as a mounting point or is the edge of the coachroof the only suitable location ? The jib would be a 90 or 95 %.

Hello and Seasons Greeting from the opposite coast - East that it. We have our jib tracks for our blade mounted approximately one inch outboard of the top windows on the coach roof, just aft of the coach roof handrails. I can try and send a pix if you like.

I installed inboard tracks for my blade #3. Big advantage in pointing as the breeze increases.

Thanks for your replies and thanks Alan for the pictures. I did find your earlier post regarding backing with large washers and using plugs for the inside liner, when mounting the track.
I wonder if anyone has ever rigged a self tacker on this model ?
