H-34 List to Starboard

When I bought my boat a couple of years ago I noticed she had a slight list to starboard. I didn't think much of it at the time, thinking it was minor. Lately I've noticed the list has worsened a bit and when I look back at my photos it seems more noticeable to me now.

Any thoughts on what might be causing this? I have no unusual cargo on board.

The 34's all list to starboard 'cause the dingies that built them put lots of heavy stuff to stbd of centerline. If the holding tank gets kinda full and the water tank on port side gets kinda empty, it will make her list more to stbd.. Bigger batteries, a heavier stove, air conditioning.. etc.. all can gradually make her lean more.

List to starboard

The batteries are on the starboard side. The forward fresh water tank is on the port side. When full it compensates pretty well for the batteries. When empty, not so much. Maybe you just need to fill the tank? Also, the fuel tank is starboard. The water heater is starboard. The holding tank is starboard. The larger cockpit lazerette is starboard. So, you see where this is going. Shift some of that weight to port or empty some stuff out.

Previous comments are right on target. Just an H 34 characteristic that one needs to manage.

Phew!! Thanks very much for the quick replies on this. The water tanks are mostly empty for winter so that probably explains why it's listing a little more. I appreciate knowing it isn't something more serious.
