I need to replace my cabin top handrails and I am not near the boat right now, so I can't measure them. I know they are 5 loops long but I don't know what the screw spacing is; more specifically if the "standard" 5 loop rails fit or not? .. The available standard ones are 53" long and 10 1/16" between attachment bolts.

Going to the boat later this pm. I'll measure and get back to you tonite.
Sorry about the tardy answer Kloudie. Got to the boat too late to do anything last night. FYI the handrails on my 34 are 69'' long. Both the top of the cabin ones and the inside ones. 5 loops. Bolts are not spaced evenly !!! On center measures taken on one showed bolt spacing going from 12 3/4'' to 13 1/8''. My guess is whoever installed them at the Hunter plant just eyeballed it and drilled without measuring precisely. Good luck with your project !

Many Thanks, Claude.. I seemed to remember that they were not standard size.. I know that mine are made of separate pieces of wood, a long top part and little pylons between the hand loops.. I guess I'll have to make some..

Kloudie if you want to keep the woodsy look on the cabin top, you could remove the inside ones as they are the same lenght. My friend used 2 Plasteak shorter ones from the market instead of making his own. Looks good.
