The windows are crazed in the fixed ports in our '84 H31 and need replacement. Has anybody done this? Did you replace just the window or the frame too? Also looking for pics of qanchor windlass and/or bow roller install on H31-34. Found a couple in the archives but looking for ideas. THANKS. Rob rob@unlimitedaircraft.com

I Did

Used 3/8" thick smoke lexon (bullet proof & won't crack) twice the price of plexiglass. Used old window as templet to cut out new window. Bought 1/4" longer SS screws. Used black silcone caulking for bedding. Only lightly tigthen the screws till the silcone sets up (24 hrs) then tighten down hard. I masked the inside molding and around the outside of the new window. It makes for easy cleanup of excess silcone that will squeeze out.

Hey Patrick....

Would you mind emailing me some pics of upgrades too? Just got my 31 and very interested in ideas of what others have done. I remember seeing several of your posts regarding draining the inner liner via holes drilled in bilge. If I ever finish hurricane clean up, I plan to do this and much more. Very much appreciate it.....Gary gwpeaden@hotmail.com

We have bow rollers and we replaced all lenses

Endless Summer is a 1983 h31. We replaced all of the opening port lenses with exact duplicates from Pompanette. I have the Pompanette part numbers around here some place. You should be able to "special order" them from West Marine if you can find an associate who will help you. If you have trouble with this let me know and I'll fax you a "Special Order" form already filled out so you can help them. We also have two bow anchor rollers. We have a Delta 35 and a Delta 22 pound anchors. Pleae send me an email if you would like pictures of the rollers. Later, Roger Mummah remummah@worldnet.att.net
