manual. Not only must the shrouds be correctly mounted, they must also be installed on different sides of the lifelines etc. Then they must be tensioned correctly or, at worst, you could suffer a catastophic failure and lose the mast. You must also pay special attention to the shroud toggle bolts when raising the mast or you will bend them and thereby ruin them. There is alot of information in the archives on this site about this subject on H26's. Do it right and she'll sail straight, hard and fast safely, and safe is the KEY word. Good luck, and after you get a manual and read it, there are a bunch of people on this site that can then slowly walk you thru the whole bit on mast tuning. I know, as they did this for me last winter and now I dream about these numbers and the difference they can make.
