H 26 front hatch

Over the weekend, I stepped on my open front hatch. It snapped in half.
Any replacement suggestions out there? I thought about buying a piece of plexiglass and making a new one, but I would rather purchase a built one if the price is right.

Hunter sells replacements, but they aren't cheap. The hatch is curved, so a flat piece of plexiglass won't work. Call Mike Thomas at Hunter at (386) 462-3077 and press option 4 at the recording. Mine is cracked and probably won't last the season. Please post the quote you get from Hunter on this message thread. Thanks, BrianW

I contacted Hunter, the co. that makes the front hatch has went out of business. He suggested a glass shop. Surely, somebody still makes these things.

check the yellow pages under plastics, there should be some where that sells Plexiglass and lexan who can fab one for you. or at least recommend where to have it done locally. Good Luck

thanks all, I got a local auto/home glass to make it out of lexan. cost about $120 for the glass and labor.
