I need help rigging the boom. I just purchased a 1981 Hunter 25 and have a few questions regarding the built-in blocks in the boom along with the way it should properly be rigged to the main sail and the mast. A diagram would be best if someone knows where I might get one or find one online. Also, I would like to know what the smallest size halyard line I can use to replace the old ones (main and jib). My cleats are small for tying off and a smaller halyard would help and also probably run through smoother.

suggest no or low stretch 3/8 inch line for the halyards. If you do not know how to put them on, that is simple. String a line between the two and pull down on the old halyard. Make sure there is tension on the lines as the string could get off the sheave on top of the mast and get stuck. My fat buzzlebutt had to go up a couple of times to straihten that out. crazy dAve
