H 23 Lorad transducer removal

I can't find a replacement transducer for my Lorad LDX-600 depth sounder. What is the best way to remove and fill in the hole left after I remove the old transducer? Thanks

Do you have to remove it?
Otherwise you'll have to use something like this from West Systems

Try Bass Pro Shops I found one for an Eagle fish finder.

Where is the transducer located first? This may be a dumb question but an appropriate one for a good response.
