I have an OB mtr ,which runs 
like a top,5 hp Tohasta 4 stroke long shaft. I would like to add a shock absober support to protect mrt from long rough haul to B/Lake boat ramp.Maybe use the aft mast cradel support?
Any of you guys have an idea..?

I am also replacing the split board that the OB mtr is mounted on.There are four bolts that run trough transom.I can see the bolts ends that are located under cockpit aft.The nuts must be incased in the transom fiberglass as I cant see them.
The board measures 2"x17.5"x6".My son in law is plaining me a 2" green board as we speak.He used two board to get the 2" thickness I wanted as that is the exact thickness of the board being replaced.
Is there anything little trips or ideas I need to know?
Is there anyone who may know someone, or are wanting to sell, an old aluminum OB mtr mount that swing up and down..? My e mail below.
