Hunter 23 WIll be at a Navy base
A few months ago I needed help with my rub rail as it is broken and needs to be fixed. I thought I did it however upon further investigation I find that it was one of the previous owners apparently hit something. They replaced about a foot of it with new mounting material and then put the rub rail in. It is the proper backing. Also, it is screwed to the hull/deck. The person I bought the boat from seems to have done a good job of hiding small things. I have pictures but on my photo library but I have no clue how to get them on this site so the problem can be seen. I hope one of you experienced brilliant sailors could help with this problem. The rub rail is fine the attaching material has the problem. If I can get the correct attachment material I am going to replace a bigger piece. It looks like the person that fixed it the first time replaced only a foot. I had been contacted Crazy Dave but I think he got tired of waiting for me. First I need help to get the pictures on to show what I am dealing with.

Thanks,

Hey fellow, I am waiting on a photo and I did save what I had in rub rail vs. throwing it out. Its free but will need the cost of shipping to be reimbursed. My private email is davecondon@mindsping.com and in your case advise phone number and I will call you.

Then I will post what was said and what I did. Just waiting to hear back from you and do send a photo if you can or give me a phone number/
