Can anyone giving me any information on a place called Sailboat Bay in Gulf Shores. A friend of mine is tring to talk me in to buying a condo and moving my Hunter 34 into the deeded slip. I am intested in the knowing about the weather, sailing, and any daft requirements. Thank You, Matt

Weather is great, wind is great, natives are freindly. SailBoat Bay Condo's are a nice community located in the Oyster Bay area of Gulf Shores. Good restaurants are only a short distance away and there is plenty to do in the area. Gambling in Biloxi is only a short sail away (weekend trip), and Pensacola and Destin are nice destinations to the east. Sailboat Bay is considered a good Boaters deal and is home port to many a sailor. It is a sheltered harbor yet opens up to the open water of Mobil Bay and the Gulf.
