The 3 amp charging circuit on the Guest Model 2933 2 bank battery charger installed on my 1999 H340 is dead. Checked the interior fuses

Try this out.

Maybe you can get one of their refurb units. http://www.store4power.com:80/factory-outlet/factory-outlet-truecharge.asp? Don't know if you this is a better deal or not.

Please do an archive search on

"Guest Battery Charger" and "Newmar." w/o the quotes, of course. Then look for posts that I made regarding this very subject. I, too, have a 340 and HAD a Guest charger. If you will read these posts, I think I can save you a lot of frustration, and in the long run, money. I would not suggest you shop for a cheap charger. You'll likely give the money back in fried batteries. I did, as explained in my posts. BTW, my Newmar charger is performing beautifully and has continued to maintain my batteries in top notch condition. Below is a URL to take you to the Newmar web site. Good luck, Wynn Ferrel S/V Tranquility

I Wish

Wish I was dealing in US list prices. Canadian prices are almost double. Thanks for your replies. Wish the response from the Guest rep. was as quick. As my boat is on the hard now for the winter I have 5 months to sort this out.

I went to StatPower Battery Charger

My Hunter 380 came with a Guest Battery charger that cooked my engine battery. I switched to a Statpower battery charger, 20 amps, that does every thing but make coffee. It is made in British Columbia (I think in Surrey) and may not be that expensive in Canada. I would recommend the Statpower 20 amp with a Link 20 monitor. You would not regret it.
