Have. Guest battery switch with a row of LEDs across the top. I have not been able to find any information online for it. Does anyone have a manual or schematic so I can see the wiring.
OK, I'll bite. What do these connections look like? The three large posts I know... It I the smaller posts I am unsure of...
I have have one of these in my '86 H34 the PO left me a Dwg of the the DC supply system on Guest 2110A cut sheet which has an a alternator field disconnect that interrupts the field voltage if the switch passes through the off position; that could blow the diodes in the alternator if the motor is running at the time My switch had a failure shortler after I got the boat, when I opened it up to repair it I found the unit is a make before switch with a cascade voltage devider for the LEDs and the other terminals are indeed to interrupt the altenator field voltage. My 34 has the original internally regulater alternator so they are unused.craigthill said:Hopefully the pic I found on ebay uploads to the forum. As you can see it is a 4 position battery switch... a so called "smart switch" with 10 or so LEDs that indicate the voltage in tenths. I am in need of the schematic or manual or something that will explain the posts on the back. I know the battery posts, but, there are smaller posts to allow different configurations with the alternator hook up and of course the ground wire to run the unit itself... still need more info.
