Hummm... mmmm mmmmm (yep). Its probably humming a 60Hz monotone tune. :>) This comes from the transformer inside the charger. As long as AC power is applied the transformer will hum. If its vibrating agaimst a bulkhead try some rubber washers under the mounting screws to isolate it from the bulkhead.
