......seems that our friend phillip and i and bubba daboatkat have at least one guardian angel..lol....probably a team of them---they were very vwry busy during our trips we sailed--we did keep them on their toes--but they enjoyed the trip--lol----:)

i got a call from phillip today--just now actually, and he told me how fortunate we have been--lol--the rudder was miracle from guardian angelville---the part that usually breaks, according to the write ups i have read here, didnt, and was what kept the rudder blade itself from falling off the boat:eek: --whew---

anyone wanna test this with us?? we could use crew for the next adventure--lol----will be in my formosa-----on the west coast----yes, bubba is going to come along--is his boat!!!! we are going to aim for mazatlan and see where we go....lol.......:D

in the meantime, phillip is repairing his rudder and thanking the guardian angel team watching over us!!! .....we did goood----we broke it and we brought her home for the repairs..whew!!!!!!!.:dance:.

hope to leave san diego before the b ad part of winter--like before end dec...mebbe nov or mid dec....not certain---if i have help i get out sooner .lol..am seeking boat slave--will exchange work for passage if is possible..have a couple pilot berths and a double and a dinette that folds into a double....(last resort)i figgered 2 in cockpit at all times and hotbunkit....as for time duration and stops--i plan no stopping-we are going under pure sail...many of the hbarbors are difficult at best to enter even with engine--we nonstopping and sailing---boat has simrad autopilot and quadrant steering--is a typical formosa 41.....only not as posh.........

Geesh, I thought you were in the Carib! Well, I'll look over my schedule, but I suspect it isn't kind. Last trip was Mdr to PV in -9 days in Oct.

aiming at carib via panama after mazatlan....i am in san diego trying to get into the caribean..so far nothing has worked for longer than 3 weeks----have been hoping that getting my boat there might help....LOL
