Hi Guy I have a 1987 vintage stove GSI 3 BURNER an am looking to try an update it with
with spark ignitors burners an maybe new knobs
Have any one done this type of project before an where to find needed parts

Rick, Here in the Pacific NW I would contact SureMarine. They have seen all types of stoves in their 50 years of service to the marine industry.
They may know a source for the parts you seek.

I found this thread from 2002 here on SBO. GSI appears to be the initials of Gas Systems Inc. Gas Systems, Inc natural gas stove

This link may explain the difficulty you have been having finding parts. I wonder if the parts you need may be found with another manufacturer. So many of the systems on our boats were made by jobbers. Through the years, these jobbers have gone bankrupt or been bought (often a couple of times) by other companies, consolidating the market til only the strong survive.

The big names now are Force 10, Dickinson Marine, and ENO Stoves.

Folks like SureMarineService are in a position to have evolved through the various buyouts.
