Can anyone tell me what happens when a deep fin First 305 drys out alongside? Although the base of the fin is horizontal, it is quite short. It also looks as if it is forward of the centre of gravity. Is it safe to dry out? Is there a tendency to tip forward or backwards? Is it vulnerable to a persons weight on the bow or the stern? Are the fittings strong enough to hold up the bow or stern to prevent tipping. Has anyone used legs on a deep fin version?
