Ground w/out engine

The Atomic 4 is currently out of my boat, being rebuilt. What is the optimal way to ground the battery so I can use my VHF, lights, etc. while the motor is out of the boat? As it is, the ground battery from the battery ran to the motor. The positive ran from the battery to the battery switch then to the motor.

Ground

There should be a common grounding point on the back of your electrical panel for your negative wires. Just run a wire from that direct to the neg terminal on your battery.
