No Illusions
This purchase was kind of interesting. The guy had posted that he would not ship (from Maine, I believe, and I'm in TX). He wasn't getting any bids, so I sent him a question asking if he would reconsider about shipping. He said he would ship it, but it would be expensive because of the weight. I won the bid for $1 (no typo, that's one dollar), and told him that wasn't a fair amount to cover the trouble of packing it up. So I paid $25 plus shipping. Shipping was $100. I figure even with that, and the price of the service or rebuild kit, I still got a bargain. It's in pretty good shape.I had planned on buying at least a service kit, and probably a rebuild kit, when I bought it, so that's no surprise. However, I just couldn't figure it out looking at it. Thinking back, what I "remembered" reading as the "fresh water pedal" may have been "flush water pedal". Thanks for the advice.Out of all the things on our boats, the head is the main thing my wife is "fussy" about. She likes the idea of having a full size toilet on our Coronado.
