Have the boat about 7 years, no issue with head. I always pump dry, and add clean water in the bowl instead of flushing wet and bringing sea water in.

This year, the fluids/solids pump out good, but when I get to the last few pump strokes, it splashes back into the bowl.

I bought a rebuild kit, and replaced everything included in it except the pump shaft seal, and it's still happening..

Any ideas? I use head lube a few times a year, and use the head maybe 12-20 times a season....
