Hi to all,We're in Tofino about halfway up the West side of Vancouver Island in the fourth week of our summer cruise. We're currently rafted up with John and Ingrid Nantz on Servus, their H35. We buddy boated the first week with Peter and Anne Milne on Blue Heron their H430 between Victoria and Barkley Sound. We've seen humpback, gray and Orca whales at close range, bears in our anchorage, eagles galore. A highlight has been Hot Springs which is a waterfall that falls into a series of pools that make their way down to the ocean. The water at the top is 121 degrees fahrenheit but gets progressively cooler. Great for soaking and with neat views as well.Weather has been largely great though we got to try our our new Gale Sail beating into 25 knot winds around Race Rocks. It works great! Will write more later.Gary WyngardenS/V Wanderlust H375
