i recently stripped the bottom paint from a 1976 oday 22 and found the keel covered with small green specs of who knows what. i tried to remove them with acetone but it looks like its mixed right in with the gelcoat. the paint i removed were red and also some blue so it isnt paint. its almost like something had been spilled into the mould when the boat was first laid up. i dont know.anybody ever hear of anything like this before??? thanks
