Ladylove will get a new Yanmar 3YM30 this year. Still in the Harbor North driveway looking very forlorn. Gotta' go and watch that one more time. Unbelieveable, that is some impressive speed. I don't think I have ever seen a sailboat go quite that fast and true. Inspiring. No powerboat could ever rival I think that kind of a ride. Sail on!

Motor running ...
They have to use the engine to move the keel. The VO70's would be much slower without the engines. That makes them motor-sailors in my book. Very nice boats, very fast, very exciting racing ... but the engines are helping ... kind of hard to call them sailboats.
