Great places to sail in L.A.

I'm buying a Hunter 23.5 and would like any ideas on great places to go sailing in the L.A., Southern California, Ventura County areas. Boat is on a trailer so driving to lakes or ocean isn't a problem. Any web sites or other info on places to look would also be helpful.Thanks in advance.John

San Pedro
