We had a great day sailing Sunday on the York river in VA. This was the first time I had taken the whole family (wife and kids) out for a dedicated full day of sailing. We had (as a family) previously only been out on shorter (two or three hours) excursions. The wind was steady at about 10 MPH, it was overcast, and the air temperature was just about perfect. The porta potty came in handy a few times. My 3 year old managed to take an hour nap in the cubby cabin half way through the sail. My eight-year old also managed to find a comfortable place in the cubby cabin to relax (with enough blankets and towels). My wife stretched out in the large cockpit.Next time we might take along the dogs too.
