Hello all,
I'm about to install 5 new gray portlights. The outside of the ports stick out about 4" I would like to cut them down to 2", I saw a post of how to make a jig to do this but now I can't find it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

I'm not familiar with your particular project, but most jigs are fairly simple to construct. Pictures of your ports and intended cuts may help along with what kind of tool you plan to use for the cutting (band saw, router, Portable Band saw, abrasive cutter, etc.)

Morgan,

Are you just cutting the glazing? Is it plastic? If so, cut on a table saw, round the corners with a belt sander and sand the edges with a block sander and fine sandpaper. Depending on the extent or complexity of the cut, simply running it along thecsaw fence should be sufficient.
