I've recently removed the plugs (bungs?) in the cabin ceiling of my O'Day 25 in order to gain access to and tighten the nuts holding the grab rails. These plugs (plastic) were pretty brittle, and I managed to destroy a couple of them in the process. I've e-mailed Rudy to see if he has them, but no response. Has anybody found a source for these? (Possibly a generic product that's used on other boats?) Thanks! Sean

I've sent emails (2) to "Rudy" (Heard he's the goto guy for O'Day parts) never received a response. I was told, on this forum, that you have to call him. I found what I wanted somewhere else - people who refuse to answer their email should not have email. I'm sure you can find it elsewhere with a bit of looking. If not - I guess I would call Rudy.

WalMart or Home Depot or somewhere sells some plastic plugs that snap right in. I need some too but I keep forgetting to look for them.

I had the same problem with the plastic plugs so I called Rudy. They have (or had) them in stock so I bought enough to replace all of them plus a few spares. Suggest you call Rudy as I've heard they get so many e-mails they are unable to read and answer all of them.

Thanks for the replies! I'll try calling Rudy on the phone. (I've had good experiences with orders with him in the past, and I realize that it's not a large heavily-staffed operation -- only so much one guy can do...) Sean
