This has been subject matter several times. Most everyone has been happy with Garimn. The type really depends on were you are going to mount it and use it. West Marine has many to show you and probably good advice. Are you mounting it on a wheel pedelstal? Is it going to be stationary? Does it need to tilt and swivel?
