Hello all. Hope you'r all doing well. Went down to the boat this morning, and was wishing I had some bacon, hash browns and toast. Check out the first pic and see what was in the cockpit! And I thought all birds built nest. The next pic is my neighbors signaling device. Thinks its USCG approved? :) As always, I have more questions but I'll start another post. This was for fun.

Re: Got Bacon/USCG approve signal divice

Had a duck nest in my overturned dink one year. Had a duck start a nest in one of my front gardens last year but the fox or raccoon put an end to that effort.

If those are goose eggs

If those are goose eggs, you will probably be violating federal migratory bird laws if you so much as touch them. Or go sailing. Life's a bitch sometimes.

Re: If those are goose eggs

They did look like goose eggs. Not 100% sure. Anyways, their with the fishes now. If the feds come after me, I'll be learning to sail the oceans real fast! :)

I hate birds on boats. They are either crapping, making nests or layin' eggs.

Isn't there any protection for your common sailor? <g>

Some duck laid eggs in a friends stored dink, some broke and rotted. Took straight vinegar to get the stink out, then bleach to get the vinegar stink out.

nauticus industrious - busy sailor naaa
nauticus nautyus - the other kind of busy sailor naaa
nauticus independus - solo sailor naaa
nauticus circumnavigatus - world sailor naaa
nauticus ......
