Capital Yachts Neptune 24 Vero Beach
Ahoy again, after a long hiatus due to a bad scooter accident on Key West we are back on Sailboatowners.com , got our old username back! Need any knowledge from all the old salts and experts on this site. We just purchased a 1985 Neptune 24 by Capital Yachts. Surprising there is very little on the net about them, we had a old Chrysler many years ago and there was tons of stuff and a Chrysler forum, we have had Catalina and Hunter. We feel in love with this little sloop and are getting ready to move her " Wizard " down to our home port, she is in the water. Looking for any info from our fellow sailors.

We have running rigging, cockpit cushions, canvas and lots more. That's a fun boat, congrats. Like all older boats, most original parts are long gone, but we always have a solution for upgrades and I'm personally always happy to help.

Welcome back KeysSkipper. Congrats on finding a boat to love. Have never seen a Neptune 24, and likely never will unless you post some pictures. You know Boat porn... All her good side shots.

Newport 28 Richardson Marina
Keyssailor, there is not a lot of info online about the Neptune 24, there is a bit on the old Capital Yachts Info website and there is an active Capital Yachts Facebook group. I have been sailing one for 10 years and just moved up to a Newport 28.

jssailem, I have one on a trailer in Eugene you could buy to check out...:)

Thank you Ned... That was "Come by to check it out". (Just a couple of auto corrects confused the message;))...
